Massolit, Budapest

Massolit book store

I've been hanging out a lot this week in Massolit, an English bookstore and cafe a couple of blocks down from my hostel. The coffee is good, the wifi is free and you are surrounded by comfy chairs and hundreds upon hundreds of books.

I've been working on a bit of a different project that's taken up a lot of my time and finds me in need of such a cosy space. A good friend and former colleague has me designing and writing a cross-stitch pattern book. So far I have been working off of the nearly 100 pages of printed copy to create a simpler digital version to work from. I've forgotten how much I love technical writing and it's been a great opportunity to practice those skills. Really looking forward to settling on the copy though so I can move forward with the design portion. Also, photos of words on my MacBook screen are hardly inspiring. So, check out this awesome space instead!
